Christene Nissen & Associates offers a range of counselling services to support you through life’s hard times. When you need to talk, I’ll listen. Our services are directed by your needs and we aim to make you feel comfortable and at ease. There are many things I can help you with.

We provide a strong mental health delivery through a cost effective, accountable and efficacious private service ranging from one-on-one counselling and couples counselling, to group education programs and Employee Assistant Program (EAP) services. I also offer corporate mediation and school based training for teachers.

Christene is a registered Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, Manager Support Provider (MSP), Critical Incident Manager (CIM) and a registered supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

From the Kingaroy base Christene is able to provide an outreach nationwide front line counselling, crisis intervention and support service to major organisations across Australia. In addition to our Kingaroy clinic, we also have a clinic that is available by appointment at the North Street Specialist Centre - Rockhampton, New Haven Psychology Services – Yeppoon, Monto Family Practice - Monto, and Biloela Medical Centre - Biloela.

No referral is required to see Christene. Eligible member rebates for Medibank Private and Australian Unity Health clients. Referrals are also accepted through a GP Mental Health Care Plan from your GP to see one of our Associate Psychologists.
